Why we exist

We started A.R.K because too many families were finding out too late.

Only around 45 per cent of people in the United Kingdom ever get around to making a Will. The rest leave the decision to a formula written by Parliament, and their families discover the consequences at the worst possible moment.

We are a family business in Stevenage, not a call centre. The person who takes your first call is the person who sits at your kitchen table, drafts your documents and answers the phone three years later when something changes. That continuity is the whole point.

How we work

Four steps, and you never wonder what happens next.

  1. 01

    A free conversation

We listen first. Come to our Stevenage office or ask us to visit you at home. No charge, no obligation, no jargon.

  2. 02

    Your plan in plain English

We set out exactly what you need, what it protects and what it costs, in writing, before any work begins.

  3. 03

    Drafting and checking

We prepare your Will, Trust or Lasting Power of Attorney and walk you through every clause until you are happy with it.

  4. 04

    Signing, registering, storing

We supervise signing, register your Lasting Powers with the Office of the Public Guardian and store the originals safely.

In safe hands

A.R.K went above and beyond to help and gave us excellent advice. I also know that she would be on the end of the phone if I needed them. I would have no hesitation in recommending A.R.K.
