These terms apply to the services provided by A.R.K Lasting Powers & Wills Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its office at the Business and Technology Centre, Bessemer Drive, Stevenage, Herts, SG1 2DX.
Our services
We prepare Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney, register Lasting Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian, store documents and provide fixed fee Probate support. We are not a firm of solicitors. Where a matter falls outside our expertise we will tell you and, where we can, point you to someone who can help.
Fees
Your initial consultation is free and carries no obligation. Before any work begins we confirm in writing what we will do and what it will cost. Our Probate service is offered on a fixed fee basis so you know the position from the outset. Third party costs such as court and registration fees are shown separately.
Regulation and insurance
We are a member of The Society of Will Writers and hold the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners qualification. We carry professional indemnity insurance of £2.5 million.
Your responsibilities
The documents we prepare rely on the accuracy of the information you give us. Please tell us promptly if your circumstances change, in particular on marriage, divorce, the birth of children or a significant change to your assets.

Please raise any concern with us first by telephoning 01438 746 977 or emailing info@arkpowers.com. We will acknowledge your concern within five working days. If we cannot resolve it together you may refer the matter to The Society of Will Writers.
